What are Disciplines?
Disciplines are limited but they are often immediately highly effective. Disciplines points are earned to develop the character's Disciplines by shrines, training and leveling up.

What important role do Disciplines play in character development?
Disciplines are passive enhancements that can be learned and developed
into powerful advantages. Disciplines have up to 5 levels of
advancement and each level costs Discipline Points in order to improve
them. Disciplines can allow your character to Counter Attack your
opponents in combat, they can make healing items more effective, reduce
the amount of recharge time for Abilities and Spells among many other
great advantages.
